The Professor Patty Cake Consulting team ❤️s fashion and giving back. We believe that when you mix Fashion + Giving you become a Philanthropic Fashionista! We recently started a Poshmark closet & boutique to sell new and preloved clothing, shoes, and home goods. We give a portion of our profits to local nonprofits/charities serving women and children.
PROFESSOR PATTY CAKE ® GIVES BACK
Professor Patty Cake Consulting, L.L.C. is focused on Empowering Educators and Improving Education in Syracuse, NY and beyond. One way we do so is by using our resources and talents to support nonprofit organizations working to eliminate poverty, expand educational opportunities for diverse student populations, and/or provide enriching instructional resources for schools. Past donations include:
- Donated a class set of the book, The Hate You Give, to the 9th grade team at OnTech Charter High School so they could conduct a book study with their students.
- Donated travel size toiletries to the nonprofit organization, We Rise Above the Streets, so they could to distribute them to homeless individuals living on the streets and in shelters here in Syracuse.
- Provided financial support to the Blessed Sacrament School Scholarship Fund, a fund used to provide tuition assistance to students in need and donated auction items to the Blessed Sacrament School PTA's Annual Holiday Auction.
- Provided financial support to Partners in Learning, Inc., a nonprofit organization striving to help diverse individuals/families earn, learn, and live well in CNY.
- Provided financial support to WCNY, our local PBS station providing educational television programing for CNY adults and children.
- Provided financial support for the Food Bank of CNY and The Rescue Mission to provide food to families in need.
- Provided financial support to Vera House a local organization working to end domestic violence and provide shelter and resources to abused women and their children.
- Provided financial support to CNY Solidarity, a local group working for racial equality and increased opportunities for individuals of color living here in CNY.
